MASSENA -- Helen Murray, a long time member of the Massena Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, has been selected to be a member of the statewide committee for healthcare auxiliaries with the Healthcare Association of New York State.
The Committee on Healthcare Auxiliaries aims to encourage and assist auxiliary leaders and members to stimulate advocacy activity and to provide guidance and educational opportunities through programs and publications.
“We are very pleased Helen Murray has been selected to have a seat on the HANYS Committee for Healthcare Auxiliaries. Helen has worked very hard for the MMH Auxiliary and will represent the North Country very well,” said Charles F. Fahd, chief executive officer.
“I am sure the Committee, HANYS member facilities and Massena Memorial Hospital will benefit from Helen’s participation,” said Eileen Clintons, HANYS director of trustee and auxiliary education and development.
Murray has been a member of the hospital’s auxiliary for twenty-one years. She is a past president of the hospital auxiliary.
She also works in the Massena Memorial Hospital Auxiliary gift shop and on the Fundraising Committee and is a board member.
