Massena Artists Association names Kylee Disotelle of Malone its 'Artist of the Year' for 2014-15

The Massena Artists Association named Kylee Disotelle of Malone its “Artist of the Year” for 2014-15.

This award is based on the charcoal drawing, “Watched,” that she entered in MAA’s 30th membership art exhibit.

She works in several different media, including oil painting and charcoal drawing. MAA says her favorite medium is photography, including digital and black and white film. Recently, she has been experimenting with digital story telling. Her work has been accepted into the Remington Art Museum Exhibit in Ogdensburg, and has won awards in the Almonzo Wilder show and in previous MAA exhibits. Her work can be seen on her Facebook page, "Kylee’s Kreations."
