March Students of the Month chosen at Norwood-Norfolk Central School

NORWOOD -- The staff at Norwood-Norfolk Central School has announced the Students of the Month for March.

They are:

• Freshman Bodie Molnar, son of George and Debbie Molnar of Norfolk. Bodie enjoys running, hockey, math, and hanging out with friends. He participates in cross country, outdoor track, and Whiz Quiz. He plans to go to college and hopes to be an aerospace engineer.

• Sophomore Emilee Tatro, daughter of Shawn McLaughlin and Serena Tatro of Norwood. Emilee loves spending time with her family. Fishing with her dad is one of her favorite things to do. Her favorite part of the school day is Mr. McLean’s class. Emilee would like to help children with a disabilities and maybe someday become a mechanic.

• Junior Danielle Linsky, daughter of Doug and Cory Linsky of Norfolk. Danielle likes to be outside gaining hands-on experiences whether it be building or helping out Country Organics and 24-45 Organics Team. Danielle plays soccer and is on the track and field team. When Danielle graduates she wants to build houses and different projects and to live in a house that she built.

• Senior Karlee Donahue, daughter of Kelly and Ellen Donahue of Norwood. Karlee’s interests and hobbies include music, art and working with children. She works at The Hometown Café. After graduation she will be attending SUNY Potsdam majoring in psychology.

The Norwood-Norfolk PTSA solicits gift cards from local businesses for each student. The businesses that donated are the Hotel Grande and Al Smiths of Norfolk and The Hometown Café and Lobster House of Norwood.

Also, the Teacher’s Association presents the senior student of the month with a gift card to the Clarkson Bookstore.

These students are selected for their academic achievements, integrity and leadership in the school and throughout the community.
