Michael Paige, a senior from Madrid-Waddington School, was recently chosen as BOCES student of the month for March by the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce
Paige is a student in the BOCES automotive technology program taught by Austin Hicks.
“Michael always exhibits initiative bringing projects into the shop to work on. He makes excellent use of time not only working on his own projects, but also helping other students finish their projects. Michael models professional and safe work habits on a daily basis,” Hicks said.
Paige would like to obtain a state job with the Department of Transportation after graduation and eventually open his own auto shop.
Paige received a certificate from BOCES, a “Chamber Dollars” check and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
