OGDENSBURG -- Matthew Delosh, a student at Madrid-Waddington Central School, was recently selected as the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce BOCES student of the month.
Delosh is a senior student of Patricia Gilbert in the Natural Resource Management Program at BOCES.
“When I was asked to recommend a student for this honor, Matt immediately came to mind. He has demonstrated a tremendous work ethic in the past two years. He performs high quality work and continually strives to do more. Matt has a passion for the outdoors and uses his wealth of knowledge to help teach others in the program. Matt is extremely driven and I believe he will succeed in any future endeavor,” said. Gilbert.
Delosh plans on attending college for either diesel mechanics or environmental science at Paul Smith College.
Delosh received a certificate of achievement from BOCES, a “Chamber Dollars” check and a plaque from the Chamber of Commerce.
