MADRID -- Thomas Gagnon of Madrid recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with an associate’s degree in physical science from Valley Forge Military College in Wayne, Penn.
During the ceremony, Gagnon was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U. S. Army National Guard through the Early Commissioning Program.
In the fall, he will be continuing his studies at Clarkson University in Potsdam, where he will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
He is a 2014 graduate of Madrid-Waddington Central School.
