OGDENSBURG -- Joshua Godbout, a senior at Lisbon Central School, was recently chosen as the BOCES student of the month for March by the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
Godbout is a student in the BOCES innovations in science and technology program taught by Raamitha Pillay.
“Joshua is a stellar student, always on task and trying to do bigger and better projects. He is always helpful and inspires the other students to achieve more,” Pillay said.
He plans to attend SUNY Canton, SUNY Alfred or SUNY Oswego to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.
He enjoys robotics, and is currently on the track team at school and would like to continue track at the college level.
Godbout received a certificate from BOCES, a “Chamber Dollars” check sponsored by Key Bank, NA and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
