The United Helpers organization welcomes Adam Leggett, PT, DPT, AEMT-CC to the United Helpers family.

Leggett is a native of Ransomville, N.Y., and now resides in Canton.

He received his Bachelor of Science from St. Lawrence University in 2006, majoring in Biology; and is a 2009 graduate of Clarkson University, where he earned his doctorate in Physical Therapy.

He joins United Helpers following employment with St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena, where he served as Director of Rehabilitation.

"I'm excited to work with the United Helpers team," said Leggett. "I really enjoy working with people and getting results."

Leggett is also a volunteer with the Canton Fire & Rescue units and has been involved in emergency services for nearly fifteen years.

"I come from a health care family," Leggett adds. His mother is a nurse and father is an EMT and firefighter. "I admit it, health and safety of others is a big part of my life." Leggett is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Firefighters Association of the State of New York.

Leggett is providing therapy services at the United Helpers' Maplewood Campus in Canton.

United Helpers offers sub-acute, short-term and out-patient rehabilitative services at their two, new Rehabilitation Suites located at the United Helpers Ogdensburg campus and at Maplewood Campus.
