Le Moyne College names 12 St. Lawrence County residents to its dean's list

The following students made the dean's list for the 2016 spring semester at Le Moyne College in Syracuse:

• Kirstin Barkley, a sophomore majoring in biology from Norfolk

• Mackenzie Comeau, a senior majoring in biology from Ogdensburg

• Zendel Cordwell, a senior majoring in nursing from Ogdensburg

• Byron Evans, a junior majoring in biology from Harrisville

• Holly Fanning, a senior majoring in biology from Canton

• Alisabeth Furnace, a sophomore majoring in biology from Norfolk

• Ashley Goyco, a junior majoring in English from Norfolk

• Courtney Manley, a sophomore majoring in marketing from Massena

• Catherine Miller, a sophomore majoring in biology from Massena

• Seth Montpelier, a junior majoring in political science from Ogdensburg

• John Morrison, a senior majoring in physics from Ogdensburg

• Stephanie Rogers, a senior majoring in psychology from Massena

To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above.

Located in a suburban setting on a 160-acre campus in Syracuse, Le Moyne College is one of only 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States, according to a press release.

Offering more than 30 majors, Le Moyne provides an education that helps students explore their potential through academics, experience and service, the release said.
