A. A. Kingston Middle School in Potsdam selects students of the block

POTSDAM -- A. A. Kingston Middle School recently selected several students of the block for the second block of the school year.

Students are selected on the basis of “scholastic achievement, citizenship, and extra curricular activities,” according to a press release from the school. “Outstanding effort and attitude are highly valued as well.”

Students of the block include Maia Jones, fifth grade; Sadie Williams, fifth grade; Lauryn Bigwarfe, sixth grade; James Sullivan, sixth grade; Brooklyn Moses, PE; Ariana Chiarenzelli, sixth grade; Yacob Melman, sixth grade; Claire Murphy, band/orchestra; Alyssa Allen, eighth grade; Drew Talcott, eighth grade; Keely Towne, chorus; and Emma Hubbard, art.

Mark Bennett, AAK middle school principal, presented the awards.
