POTSDAM -- Sara Khoshnevisan has been appointed assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering at Clarkson University. Prior to coming to this position, she was visiting assistant professor at Clemson University.
Her areas of research interest include the geotechnical engineering; reliability-based design; risk assessment; risk visualization disaster resilience and mitigation of geohazards and other natural or manmade threats; robustness to lack of knowledge; numerical modeling; soils and foundations; and liquefaction. In 2015, she received the Clemson University Distinguished Graduate Fellowship Award for outstanding achievements
