CANTON – Gray & Gray Certified Public Accountants, P.C., a full service accounting firm, announced it has added a new staff member and continued to grow its client base during 2010.

Partners John J. Gray, Jr. and Angela M. Gray, members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, said they are pleased to announce Kimberly C. Hickey has joined their firm as a staff accountant.

Ms. Hickey graduated with distinction from Clarkson University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science and a minor in Economics. She graduated from the Clarkson School in 2004.

Immediately following college graduation, Kimberly joined The Ayco Company, L.P., a Goldman Sachs Company, obtained Series 7 and 66 certifications and was promoted to Senior Financial Planner. Prior to joining Gray & Gray, Kimberly was employed by Bonn, Dioguardi and Ray, L.L.P. Certified Public Accountants in Rochester, NY as a staff accountant. In that position she was responsible for individual, business and trust and estate tax preparation as well as various accounting and attestation services.

“Kimberly has been a natural fit into our everyday operations. Because she was familiar with what we do, she was able to hit the ground running almost from her first day on the job.” according to Gray.

A native of Potsdam, Hickey recently returned to the North Country after living in Albany and Rochester for several years.
