Sergeant Rodney Chase of Heuvelton and Sergeant First Class James Walrath of Hermon recently reenlisted in the New York Army National Guard.
Chase reenlisted with Company A, 2-108th Infantry.
Walrath reenlisted with the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 102nd Military Police Battalion.
"The New York Army National Guard has sustained our force at or above 100 percent strength for the better part of five years now," Major General Patrick A. Murphy said. "Keeping those ready forces in our ranks means that New York is ready to provide forces for state missions here at home, as we saw during Hurricane Sandy or for the federal missions supporting our nation around the country and around the world."
