OGDENSBURG -- John “Harry” Powers IV, and eighth grade student at Ogdensburg Free Academy, was recently selected as the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce student of the month.
“John ‘Harry’ Powers IV is a responsible, caring student, who is always willing to help others when needed. Harry is taking advanced classes, is on the High Honor Roll, a member of the Jr. National Honor Society, and an active member and volunteer of the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club,” said Pamela Luckie, principal of OFA middle school.
“He is a member of the Builder’s Club, a WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) Leader, and a member of the AAU Basketball Team. He plays modified football, runs track and is gearing up for basketball this winter.”
Powers received a “Chamber Dollars” check and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
