OGDENSBURG -- Jasmine Ashley, and eleventh grader at Ogdensburg Free Academy, was recently selected as the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce student of the month for November.
“Jasmine always comes into Studio Art ready to work, and her positive attitude inspires others to put in their best effort. She is creative, determined and always tries her hardest when working on art projects; these skills also extend outside the art classroom,” said Mary Simon, OFA art teacher.
Ashley is interested in marine biology and hopes to attend college in Maine.
She received a certificate from OFA, a “Chamber Dollars” check sponsored by Ed-Med Federal Credit Union, and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
