OGDENSBURG — Samantha Mokshefsky, 10th grader at Ogdensburg Free Academy, has been named the January OFA Student of the Month by the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
She was nominated by Jamie Lopez, OFA science teacher, who had this to say about her, “I nominate Samantha Mokshefsky. She currently has a 90 average in Bio and is always prepared, respectful in class. She participates in lab and is very mature and responsible. I can always count on her in class and lab to know the answer and she laughs at my jokes. She is a very nice young lady and has adjusted well to this district. I am glad to have her in both class and lab and love seeing her friendly smile each day.”
Samantha received a certificate from OFA, a Chamber Dollars check generously sponsored by Ed-Med Federal Credit Union and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
