OGDENSBURG -- Samuel McCormick, eighth grade, was recently chosen as the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce December OFA student of the month.
“Congratulations to Samuel, who has been selected as the Ogdensburg Chamber’s Student of the Month. Sam is an 8th grade student taking advanced courses, currently on the High Honor Roll, and a standing member of the Jr. National Honor Society. He is the type of student who does not like to draw attention to himself but at the same time always participates and has a great sense of humor. He has a natural ability when it comes to math and can always find unique ways to solve a problem. Samuel is a WEB Leader (Where Everyone Belongs) and is a very positive role model to others,” said his counselor.
McCormick received a certificate from OFA, a “Chamber Dollars” check generously sponsored by Ed-Med Federal Credit Union, and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
