OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce selected Cordell Martin as the April BOCES Student of the Month.
Martin is a senior at Hammond Central School in the BOCES Metalworking Technologies Program taught by Jon Hughes.
“Cordell is a driven student and has great skill in Welding & Metalworking. He has passed his NYS Bridge Test in the vertical position. I’m sure there will many more certifications in his future,” Hughes said.
Martin is planning to enter the pipe-welding field after graduation.
Cordell received a certificate from BOCES, a Chamber Dollars check, and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
