NEW PALTZ -- The following local residents were named to the dean's list at SUNY New Paltz for the fall 2012 semester:

• Julia Amberg, Gouverneur, a journalism major.

• Brooks Oliver, Wanakena.

The dean's list designation is reserved for students who earn at least a 3.3 grade point average in a semester with a full-time course load.
