Nicholas A. Peck, a 2012 graduate of Gouverneur Central School graduated U.S. Air Force basic training facility on January 18 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Jennifer Peck of Gouverneur and Anthony and Laurie Peck of Fowler.
Peck is the paternal grandson of James and Evelyn Hanratty, Fowler and maternal grandson of the late Maureen McDougal Gouverneur and Leonard and Myra Jo and the late Leonard McDougal of Pulaski, Tenn.
He received training in basic war skills, military discipline, physical fitness, drill and ceremonies, Air Force core values and a comprehensive range of subjects relating to Air Force life.
Peck is currently attending tech school for vehicle maintenance control and Analysis at the San Antonio-Lackland base.
