LATHAM -- Two St. Lawrence County residents have been selected for promotion by the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their readiness for additional responsibility and leadership.
Tanner Young, Gouverneur, serving with the 107th Military Police Company was promoted to the rank of Private First Class.
Anthony Spadaccini, Canton, serving with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2-108th Infantry was promoted to the rank of Specialist.
The Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability and development potential.
