Nicholas A. Peck, formerly of Gouverneur, was recently promoted to the rank of senior airman (E-4) in the United States Air Force.
Peck is currently stationed overseas in Japan, where he is serving a two or three year tour.
He has been active in the USAF for two and a half year years, with field expertise in vehicle maintenance control and analysis.
Peck is a 2012 graduate of Gouverneur Central School.
He is the son of Jennifer Peck of Gouverneur and Anthony (Laurie) Peck of Fowler.
He is the grandson of James and Evelyn Hanratty of Fowler, the late Maureen McDougal of Gouverneur and the late Leonard McDougal of Tennessee.
