Air Force Airman Adam B. Thompson, formerly of Canton, graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate’s degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.
Thompson is the son of Barbara Thompson of Old DeKalb Road, Canton, and Kevin Thompson of Sand Road, Gouverneur.
He is a 2009 graduate of Hugh C. Williams High School, Canton.
