Several St. Lawrence County residents were recently named to the dean's list at Elmira College for term II, winter 2016.
These students included:
• Megan Barney of Lisbon
• Emily Bush of Ogdensburg
• Lindsay Proulx of Canton
• Macy Huntley of Canton
• Ellie Holmes of Ogdensburg
• Cortney Wagstaff of Norfolk
The dean's list recognizes students with a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.
Elmira College is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college founded in 1855, located in Elmira.
The college has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 1,200 full-time students, of which thirteen percent are valedictorians or salutatorians of their high schools or preparatory schools.
Students come from 35 states and more than 20 countries.
