POTSDAM -- The following SUNY Potsdam students were recently named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference All-Academic Team:
• Matthew Piercey of Ogdensburg, is a sophomore member of the SUNY Potsdam men's basketball team.
• Brandon Short of Norfolk, is a sophomore member of the SUNY Potsdam men's ice hockey team.
• Gyle Dominy of Colton, a sophomore member of the SUNY Potsdam men's lacrosse team.
• Adam Lewis of West Stockholm, a junior member of the SUNY Potsdam men's lacrosse team.
• Stephen Lewis of West Stockholm, a junior member of the SUNY Potsdam men's lacrosse team.
• Alison Greene of Massena, a senior member of the SUNY Potsdam women's ice hockey team.
• Taylor Marcellus of Waddington, a junior member of the SUNY Potsdam women's ice hockey team.
• Abby Tardelli of Potsdam, a senior member of the SUNY Potsdam women's ice hockey team.
• Rachael Huntley of Canton, a sophomore member of the SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse team.
• Kathleen Lapinski of Canton, a junior member of the SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse team.
• Sabrina Johnson of Colton, a sophomore member of the SUNY Potsdam softball team.
Players named to the all-academic team have a minimum 3.3 GPA for the semester.
