RUSSELL -- Molly Burger, an Edwards-Knox high school student received the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) scholarship, which covers an academic year of study and cultural immersion in Germany.
It is funded by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and administered by AFS-USA, a nonprofit student exchange organization.
Burger is among 50 students in the northeast and 250 nationwide to receive the scholarship and is to spend 2014-2015 living with a German host family and attending a local high school.
