Eve Whalen of Colton has earned highest honors for the spring semester 2016 at the University of New Hampshire.

Students named to the dean's list at the University of New Hampshire have earned recognition through their scholastic performance, according to a press release.

Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0.

The University of New Hampshire, founded in 1866, is a public research university with the feel of a New England liberal arts college, the release said.

UNH is the state's flagship public institution, enrolling 13,000 undergraduate and 2,500 graduate students across three campuses.
