ELMIRA -- Elmira College held its 2013 Cowles Honor Scholars Celebration Thursday, Jan. 31. The following students were recognized at the ceremony:

• Patrick Reilly, Colton. Reilly is majoring in economics and mathematics and is the son of Joe and Anne Reilly.

• Macy VanArnam, Ogdensburg. VanArnam is majoring in biology and is the daughter of Bryan and Carolyn VanArnam.

To achieve standing as a Cowles Honor Scholar, students must be members of the class of 2013, have attended at least two terms and hold a 3.6 cumulative grade point average.
