U.S. Air Force Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Alexis M. Vanbrocklin, formerly of Colton, recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
She completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Vanbrocklin is the daughter of Jamie M. and Chad R. Vanbrocklin, and granddaughter of Fay and Barbara Vanbrocklin, all of Colton.
She is also the granddaughter of Sandra White and the late Jack White of Massena.
She is a 2015 graduate of Colton-Pierrepont Central School.
