OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center recently recognized three of its staff members with awards under the hospital's new employee recognition program, “Claxton Defenders."
Joy Walker, physical therapist; Doug Hadlock, network adminstrator; and Karen Simmons, patient care technician at the Agarwal Renal Center, were each named Defenders.
They received flowers, a recognition certificate, gift cards, a special parking space, and lunch with CEO Nate Howell at a restaurant of their choice.
New Claxton Defenders will be recognized each quarter.
Employees are nominated by co-workers and supervisors.
