Ogdensburg -- Joanne Garno was recently recognized by Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for 50 years of service.
Joanne started working at the center on July 10, 1962 as a billing clerk. She then moved on to the payroll clerk position on Aug. 1, 1969 and remains in that position today.
A celebration was held in Joanne’s honor and she was presented with an engraved clock.
Joanne is married to Ron Garno and they have two children, Chris and Lori, and two grandchildren.
