POTSDAM -- Clarkson University Director of Research and Technology Transfer Gregory C. Slack has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), Mid-Atlantic Region.
His work involves efforts to attract and manage external grant and contract funding in support of sponsored research activities.
Slack started at Clarkson in 2005 after working in the pharmaceutical industry.
Slack received his associate's degree in science from SUNY Morrisville, his bachelor of arts in chemistry from SUNY Potsdam and his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
