Clarkson University professor promoted to full professor

POTSDAM -- Clarkson University professor Rajesh Sethi has been promoted from associate to full professor of consumer & organizational studies in the School of Business.

Sethi's research interests are in innovation and cross-functional teams. He is recognized as an expert in the area of cross-functional product development teams. He has published more than 40 papers and has presented his research at dozens of national and international conferences. He serves on the editorial board of a major innovation journal, the Journal of Product Innovation Management.

Sethi's research has won numerous awards and has appeared in top journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Organization Science, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and Harvard Business Review.

He received his Ph.D. from University of Pittsburgh. His dissertation was selected as one of the top three dissertations in 1996 by American Marketing Association and received an honorable mention.

Sethi has been involved in undergraduate, graduate, and executive teaching. He has taught a variety of courses, including marketing management and strategy, product and price, and marketing research. He has received several teaching awards, including the Outstanding New Teacher Award.

At the Clarkson University School of Business, Sethi has played a key role in the design of the innovation and entrepreneurship major at the undergraduate level and the innovation and new venture management track at the graduate level.
