POTSDAM -- The following local students were named to the Clarkson University dean's list for the fall 2013 semester. Dean's list students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.

Local students included: Brittany Brown of Gouverneur, a freshman majoring in biology. Robin Collyns of Gouverneur, a senior majoring in biology. Claire Englert of Massena, N.Y., a freshman majoring in biology. Rachel Fisher of Ogdensburg, a sophomore majoring in biology. Kennedy Norris of Massena, a freshman majoring in biology. Karissa Bertrand of Ogdensburg, a freshman majoring in biomolecular science. Jake Carter of Potsdam, a junior majoring in biomolecular science. Samantha Ellison of Canton, a freshman majoring in business studies. Patrick Dean of Canton, a senior majoring in chemical engineering.
