POTSDAM -- Carol Parker has been named the employee of the month for September at Clarkson University.

Parker, administrative assistant in the Annie Clarkson Society, has been honored “for her commitment to service excellence in her role,” according to a news release from the school.

“Parker is instrumental in preparations for many on campus events -- such as Reunion, Commencement, Cold Out Gold Out, and many external events as well. She supports multiple colleagues -- all with hectic schedules and demands -- and ‘never complains about the workload or tasks assigned.’ She is ‘always ready to tackle new challenges and enjoys learning’ and ‘shows her positive attitude toward her responsibilities and is always willing to help co-workers in any way she can,’” the release says. “Parker's colleagues say that they are ‘incredibly lucky’ to have her on their team and can always trust that her work is accurate and will meet deadlines. Her attention to detail and desire for perfection is much appreciated by everyone who works with her. Parker's combination of institutional memory and understanding of the stewardship process has made her a vital member of the major gifts team.”
