Jen Cornell was recently named the employee of the month for August at Clarkson University.
Cornell, administrative assistant of the Clarkson Fund, was honored for her “commitment to service excellence in her role,” according to a press release from Clarkson.
Individuals chosen for employee of the month “exemplify the university's service philosophy and standards through their work and exhibit a positive and supportive attitude,” the release said.
In nominating Cornell, her colleagues said her service and contribution is next to none. “She is the first to volunteer to lend a hand for any events and is organized and helpful,” the release said.
Her colleagues appreciate that Cornell "always goes beyond what her day-to-day duties are with a great deal of enthusiasm and integrity," according to the release.
Known for her attention to detail and high-quality work, she is known as a doer who always wants to get things done right and goes above and beyond to ensure her work is top-notch and nothing less.
Cornell is "someone you want on your team and who will continue to do great things for Clarkson," the release said.
