Clarkson University granted tenure to Dr. Stephen J. Sauer, who is now an associate professor of consumer and organizational behavior.
He came onboard in 2008.
Sauer's research focuses on issues of leadership, status and diversity in management teams, and entrepreneurial team processes. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Forbes.com and USA Today.
He teaches courses in negotiations, leadership, and organizational behavior at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
His honors from Clarkson include the 2011 Clarkson University Outstanding New Teacher Award, Kristen Craig Memorial Faculty Award and MBA Elective Professor of the Year, and the 2009 MBA Module Professor of the Year.
Sauer holds a Ph.D. in management and organizational behavior from Cornell University.
