POTSDAM -- Moshe Marko has been appointed assistant professor of physical therapy at Clarkson University.
Marko received his bachelor of physiotherapy degree from University of Tel-Aviv, his master of health science degree from Washington University-College, his doctor of physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, and his Ph.D. from Syracuse University.
Marko is a board-certified orthopedic physical therapy specialist, board-certified strength & conditioning specialist and a member of the American National Strength & Conditioning Association.
Before coming to Clarkson, Mark was an adjunct professor in the School of Allied Health Professions, Department of Physical Therapy at Ariel University, Israel.
From 2003-2012, Mark was clinical assistant professor in the College of Health Professions, Department of Physical Therapy Education at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He also was assistant professor of physical therapy at Utica College of Syracuse University.
His teaching expertise includes geriatrics, kinesiology, physical modalities, wellness and prevention, applied clinical decision making, movement analysis, patient/client management regarding the spine, and the physiology of exercise.
Marko has presented his work in peer-reviewed publications, often writing on mobility and strength issues affecting senior citizens. He also has made presentations at community health fairs.
