POTSDAM -- Capt. John Warson has been appointed assistant professor of military science at Clarkson University.
He holds a bachelor science degree in general studies from Liberty University and a master's degree in geological engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
His military education includes a wide range of basic and advanced training.
His deployments include: 1994 to Haiti as a combat engineer in support of Operation Uphold Democracy, 2000 to Kosovo as a squad leader in support of Operation Joint Endeavor, 2003 to Baghdad as a platoon sergeant in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and 2004 to Afghanistan as engineer cell non-commissioned officer in charge.
