POTSDAM -- Dr. Dana M. Barry was selected for a 2017 Marquis Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award for her professional dedication and contributions. The organization nominates the top five percent of individuals in its various Who’s Who publications for the honor.
Barry, of Canton, has many honors, awards, and publications. She holds five graduate degrees including a M.S. in Education from SUNY Potsdam, a M.S. in Chemistry from Clarkson University, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Osaka University, Japan.
She has permanent certification to borrow lunar rocks, was a certified professional chemist for many years, and was awarded a permanent teacher certificate in 1972 for chemistry and the general sciences.
She has held many corporate and academic positions.
Barry is included in the Marquis publications Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in American Education, and Who’s Who of American Women.
Presently, she is a research professor in Clarkson University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and is a visiting professor at institutions in Europe and Asia.
