Clarkson University Professor Emeritus John N. Serio recently published “The Collected Poems of Wallace Stevens, Corrected Edition.”
The book was published with the assistance of Assumption College's Chris Beyers and released by Penguin/RandomHouse/Vintage books in August.
Stevens is one of America's foremost poets. His collected poems were first published in 1954, but contained numerous errors. Although the book had been reprinted countless times, it had never been revised, and it was littered with mistakes.
The new edition contains more than 100 corrections to the text as well as another 100 changes in formatting and arrangement.
