The dean of Clarkson University’s Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering recently presented his research on an international stage.
Goodarz Ahmadi delivered a plenary lecture at the International Conference on Multiphase Flow in Jeju, Korea.
Ahmadi expanded his research on particle transport, deposition and removal in environmental and biological applications.
The conference drew more than 1,000 attendees from over 40 countries across Asia, Europe, North America and Australia, Ahmadi said. He was the one of only five professors to give the plenary presentations. Ahmadi has authored more than 525 papers in archival journals, in addition to three books.
He has given more than 1,000 presentations at national and international conferences, in addition to more than 150 invited lectures and seminars worldwide.
“Giving a plenary talk at an international conference like that puts Clarkson on the map in this field,” Ahmadi said.
