CANTON -- The VFW Men’s Auxiliary Post 1231 of Canton honored Tyler Trahan, with this year’s high school award.
He is the son of Kristen & Basil Cheney of Canton, & Richard Trahan,
He was chosen based on his high moral character, community involvement, good scholastic attendance, leadership qualities, respect for others, and being considered a well-rounded student.
Tyler will attend SUNY Canton in the fall to major in Applied Psychology. His plan is to obtain a Master of Education in Counseling at St. Lawrence University to assist Veterans and Enlisted Personnel in stress relief such as PTSD.
