Canton resident ties with another student during poster presentation at Clarkson University

A Canton resident recently tied with another student during a poster presentation at Clarkson University.

Undergraduate students recently presented their research projects during the 18th annual summer Symposium on Undergraduate Research Experiences at Clarkson University.

Environmental health science student Sandar Bregg of Canton tied with engineering and management student Hashley Henry of Jamaica, NY, for the environmental sciences poster session at the symposium.

Bregg's research studies noise reduction ratings using noise dosimetry inside and outside hearing protection devices.

SURE provides undergraduates a forum for presentations on research and independent projects, or other educational activities such as internships, co-ops and study abroad experiences.

The goal is to celebrate all forms of scholarship and to provide an opportunity for a broad audience to appreciate work by Clarkson’s undergraduate students, according to a press release from the university.
