Emily Gauthier, the daughter of Beverly and Loren Gauthier of Canton, was selected for induction into the Saint Michael's College chapter of Delta Epsilon Sigma, the National Catholic Honor Society.
Gauthier was inducted into DES in ceremonies held Sept. 24 on the campus of Saint Michael's, a top-ranked Phi Beta Kappa institution, where students are engaged in experiential and research learning in and out of the classroom.
Gauthier, a senior Spanish major, graduated from Hugh C. Williams High School before coming to Saint Michael's, a residential Catholic college located in Burlington, Vt., one of the top 10 college towns in the country.
