Susan Miller of Canton recently earned the dean's award for academic excellence at Colgate University for the spring semester.
Miller, a member of the class of 2016, is a peace and conflict studies major.
The dean's award at Colgate is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average.
Colgate University is a residential liberal arts institution focused on “global engagement, student-faculty research, off-campus study, sustainable practices, and utilizing technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience,” according to a press release.
Colgate offers 54 majors to a diverse student body of approximately 2,900 undergraduate students, and supports 25 Division I athletic teams.
