POTSDAM – Canton-Potsdam Hospital employees selected Matthew Averill, maintenance technician, as employee of the month for March.
Averill joined Canton-Potsdam Hospital just one year ago and has already proven himself an invaluable member of the health facilities team.
Matt’s colleagues noted he is always courteous, welcomes challenges and shares a positive and encouraging attitude with staff and visitors of the hospital.
“Matt takes great pride in his work and consistently puts excellence and satisfaction first into every day,” said Randy Vanbrocklin, facilities engineer. “He is a notable professional in his field and provides nothing less than expert level technical, carpentry and painting skills.”
Averill was presented with an employee of the month award and pin, chamber gift certificates, a reserved parking space, floral arrangement and the admiration of his colleagues.
