POTSDAM -- Kevin Hartigan, patient registrar and switchboard clerk at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, has been named employee of the month for April.
Since his hire in 2006, Kevin has stepped in on numerous occasions to assist colleagues and cover others’ shifts. His colleagues noted him as courteous, dependable, and professional; a role model for others to emulate.
“Kevin makes customer service a priority and lives the Hospital’s standards of behavior every day,” said Jacque Beach, Assistant Director of Patient Access. “Kevin’s assistance with and commitment to patient satisfaction is commendable. He works very closely with front-line colleagues and hospital volunteers alike to ensure patients and visitors are greeted, informed, and escorted or directed to their destination,” added Beach.
Kevin was presented with a dish garden arrangement, Chamber gift certificates, Potsdam Guild gift shop certificates, pin, certificate of achievement, and a designated parking space for the month.
