POTSDAM – Melissa Allen, CARN, has been selected as employee of the month for February by her co-workers at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Since her employment with CPH in 2003, Allen has been going above and beyond to ensure patients experience excellence throughout their visit.
Most recently, Allen played an integral part in the hospitals’ electronic medical records implementation.
She took a lead role in training staff and was noted for her attention to detail, solid comprehension of the software, and persistence in meeting strict deadlines.
“Melissa demonstrates nothing less than 100% commitment to quality and safety. She seeks out areas for continued improvement of productivity, efficiency, and safety within the Rehabilitation Unit,” said Adam Bullock, director of the chemical dependency unit. “She always provides outstanding care to our patients and is well-respected for her teaching and case management skills. She is an integral part of our team.”
Allen was presented with a floral arrangement, certificates, pin and designated parking space.
