POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital (CPH) named Jennifer Moore, Lyndsay Macagg and Lyndon Allen as their 2013 Employees of the 4th Quarter during a ceremony at the hospital’s main campus.

Moore joined the Hospital in 2011 as a graduate nurse and quickly assumed a full-time position on the medical/surgical unit third floor. She brings a wealth of experience from her former positions within the offices of General Surgeon Shockpin Chungfat, MD, and former OB/GYN José Lizardi, MD.

“Jennifer has tremendous enthusiasm, professionalism, and the gift of caring and empathy. She supports her colleagues and puts her patients first. She is an outstanding RN, leader, mentor, and patient advocate,” said Debra A. Marques-Seaman, BSN, RN, MSU3 Nurse Director.

Macagg began her career as a volunteer with the Hospital while attending Clarkson University. In 2006, she formally joined as a full-time employee within the information systems department and in 2008 accepted the role of Volunteer and Community Events Coordinator. “Lyndsay manages more than 150 volunteers yearly, including patient helpers, gift shop managers, student interns and university medical students,” said Darlene Lewis, Vice President of Human Resources.

“She works tirelessly to improve the health and wellness of our community through organizing free educational workshops, screenings, and health-related events for individuals of all ages. In addition to her full-time responsibilities at the Hospital, Lyndsay is a long-serving board member of the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, and most recently Chamber President,” added Lewis.

Allen has served the hospital for nearly 8 years, beginning as an intern, help desk technician, medical provider support/physician liaison, and finally Information Systems Project Manager. “He strives for perfection and applies his experience and knowledge to provide guidance and plan ahead,” said Jorge Grillo, Chief Information Officer.

“His ability to track and manage a multitude of exceptionally large projects is a testament to his professionalism and hard work. Lyndon takes challenges head-on and is among the first to offer support to his colleagues,” added Grillo.
